Joppa Volunteer Trip to Montana:
Potholes, the Rocky Mountain Front, and Glacier National Park
July 2011

Our 2011 trip for Joppa Flats Education Center Volunteers and Supporters started in
Great Falls, Montana. Twenty-four of us visited Benton Lake National Wildlife Refuge,
Pine Butte Swamp Preserve, Freezeout Lake, Glacier National Park, The Museum of
the Plains Indian in Browning, Blackleaf Wildlife Management Area, and back to Great Falls.
An extension, with 12 people, headed out into the prairies to Beaver Creek County Park,
Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge, the Zortman area, and back to Great Falls.
