Occurrence: Statewide (except Nantucket?) - resident

Abundance: Common to abundant; maximum 3000

Flight Period: May 15 - October 19 (mainly late May to late June, e. August to early Sept.)

Notes: A fairly recent colonizer of Massachusetts from the north
