A Spring
Weekend
4/28-29/2001
includes
birds and bugs, some early migrants and some permanent residents.
Just a few images....
An Eastern
Screech Owl at Mount Auburn Cemetery, 4/28,
a Mourning
Cloak soaking up some rays (4/28),
and a
Pine Elfin resting after nectaring on Spicebush (4/28),
finally,
an Upland
Sandpiper in Ipswich (4/28). Well, that's worth another view -
nice!
We stayed
south of Boston on the 29th. One nice bird was this
Tricolored
Heron at World's End Reservation in Hingham.
