These snapshots
were taken with my little point-and-shoot, held up against the
ocular on my Kowa spotting scope. While the image quality is nothing
to brag about, the bird is identifiable to species and plumage.
Red Phalaropes are
rarely seen at inland locations in Massachusetts.
