Chats and Redpolls

First there was a Yellow-breasted Chat foraging right next to the refuge road.

A few feet further along, there was a flock of Common Redpolls feeding on birch catkins.

Finally, another Chat a bit further along the road.

How often do you get a day like that in December in Massachusetts?
