(A-C) Lighting conditions this morning were poor, with fog and clouds, and then a thunderstorm. These are the best of the images (all but the lower right were taken through my spotting scope.) When I went back later to look for the bird, it was no longer in sight. (D-F) Two days later, the clouds were gone but the backlighting still made it tough to get decent photos.
