Ruby-throated Hummingbird Nesting
in Bradford, 2009

Susan found a female Ruby-throated Hummingbird building a nest in
our yard on May 20, 2009. Here's a photo of Mom, glaring from the nest
on June 3.

I finally got a photo of a chick on June 25.

A better photo of the nestling on June 29

On July 3 the chick had fledged!

And was clearly a male.

And here's the used nest.
