Great Horned Owl, 3-18-2001

Today, following a tip by Mark Lynch, we headed out to Westborough
(or Westboro - who knows?) to check out a Great Horned Owl on nest
in a Great Blue Heron rookery (as she has for several years). Though
it was cloudy, I managed to get a useful photo before the heat waves
got to be too nasty:
