Joppa Flats trip to Southwestern Louisiana, October 29 - November 4, 2013

Susan Hardy and I co-led a repeat trip to the land of rice, rails, Cajuns, and boudin/jambalaya/gumbo/crawfish pie/cracklins/etouffee. Fabulous birds (157 species), food, and hospitality.

A fun time was had by all, and everyone saw Yellow Rails!

One of the highlights of this trip was the food, whether from a modest cafe in Lake Arthur

it was all awesome.
