Susan
and I were taking a late afternoon hike in the Georgetown-
Rowley State Forest and we heard some chickadees scolding.
After a bit of searching, I found this Northern Saw-whet Owl
roosting well up in a hemlock. Various contortions later, I managed
a few
marginal shots. Great way to end a lovely day (and only one deer
tick, so far).
